This week I was introduced to a new sporting clays discipline, 5-Stand. Our OSHS Clay Target League coaches allowed us to try a round. It's a lot like sporting clays, but without all of the walking and having to carry around 100 shells, which is nice! I didn't shoot as well as I should've, but that's mostly because I had was using my gun that was setup for trap vs. my flat shooting gun that I use in sporting clays. I'm looking forward to shooting a lot more 5-Stand in the future, and thank you to my coaches for allowing me to try it.
